Overview

About this trek

Standing at the foot of Everest is a feeling few places on earth can match — and the walk there, through the heart of Sherpa country, is every bit the reward. You’ll trace the Dudh Koshi valley from Lukla, climb to the trading hub of Namche Bazaar, pass the great monastery at Tengboche and follow the Khumbu glacier to Base Camp itself, with a dawn climb of Kala Patthar for the finest view of the peak.

We build in two full acclimatisation days and a sensible pace, because reaching Base Camp safely matters more than reaching it fast. Your licensed Sherpa guide knows every lodge and every sign of altitude, and your porter team carries within strict, insured limits the whole way.
